Handmade in Brown County - Continuing the Traditions...
Artist Mary Ann Robertson
Painter and Quilt maker

Painter Mary Ann Robertson moved from Indianapolis to Brown County in the early 1970s with her husband, Sculptor Bill Robertson.  They both enjoyed successful  careers  and maintained studios at their home on Highway 46, just east of Nashville.  As I recall, she was an abstract painter who expressed herself on very large canvasses.
Later Mary Ann took up quilt making and she eventually moved south.  She returned to Brown County and died here several years later in 2011.

Following are a very small collection of her small wall quilts.
