Handmade in Brown County - Continuing the Traditions...
Artist Susan W. Showalter

Artist's Statement:

"I feel very emotional about the environment…I am in love with it!  I am deeply moved by its beauty…how perfect it is.  I become delightfully distracted by it and inspired by it.  I am passionate about protecting it.  I feel very fortunate to live in the Brown County, Indiana forest where I experience the gifts of seeing beautiful miracles everyday. Unable to express my feelings about it in words, I have turned to the camera for help.  I want to share this deep love I have for the natural world with others.  In my work I hope they can see what I see and feel what I feel."
